Challenge
Process odour from 10 separate chimney points at the Hendek Factory needed to be brought under control to meet environmental impact and sustainability targets. No centralized monitoring and control infrastructure existed across the chimneys; odour management relied on isolated, manual solutions.
Solution
OCS Ozone installed an integrated odour elimination and process monitoring system covering all 10 chimneys. At the core of the solution are water-cooled ozone reactors fed by a central oxygen generator — delivering consistent, controllable ozone performance with uninterrupted 24/7 operation.
The installation included:
- Integrated odour elimination system for 10 chimneys
- Full SCADA integration and centralized monitoring infrastructure
- Online oxygen (O₂) concentration measurement system
- Central oxygen generator
- Central water-cooled ozone reactor design
- Individual online ozone (O₃) gas concentration measurement for each chimney
- Real-time data monitoring, logging, and process optimization infrastructure
Result
Emissions from all 10 chimneys can now be monitored continuously, with process parameters controlled instantly to manage environmental performance sustainably. Operating at a total capacity of 1000 g/h, the system secures both operational continuity and the facility's environmental compliance.
